1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using AcadEstate, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all visitors, students, agents, and ambassadors.

2. Description of Service

AcadEstate is a student-focused housing marketplace. We provide a platform to connect students with off-campus accommodation, roommate matching, and campus information. Currently, we operate in Phase 1, focusing on listing verification and marketplace connectivity.

3. User Responsibilities

• Students: Must provide accurate information and are responsible for verifying property conditions before making payments.
• Agents/Landlords: Must provide truthful property details, pricing, and high-quality images. Misleading listings will be removed.
• Ambassadors: Must connect a compatible crypto wallet as part of the application and represent the brand ethically.

4. Safety & Verification

While AcadEstate strives to verify all agents and listings, we do not own the properties listed. Users are strictly advised to inspect properties in person before making any financial commitments. AcadEstate is not liable for any financial losses occurring from off-platform transactions.

AcadEstate may provide features that help users connect with potential roommates. By using this feature, you acknowledge that AcadEstate only facilitates introductions between users and does not screen, guarantee, or take responsibility for the behavior, actions, or conduct of any roommate, agent, landlord, or user on the platform.

Users are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability, trustworthiness, and compatibility of any individual they choose to live with or interact with through the platform. AcadEstate shall not be liable for any disputes, damages, losses, misconduct, or personal conflicts that may arise between roommates or individuals who connect through the platform.

For personal safety, users are strongly advised to meet potential roommates, agents, or landlords in public places when verifying identity or discussing accommodation arrangements. Meetings should preferably take place in open environments such as cafes, campus locations, or other public venues. Users should avoid meeting strangers in private or enclosed spaces during initial interactions.

5. Future Tokenization ($ACAD)

Users acknowledge that $ACAD is a future utility token. Currently, AcadEstate does not process rent payments on-chain or through crypto in Phase 1. Any official token updates will be communicated via our official blog and channels.

6. Termination of Use

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
